Who we are

Guanshi Culture, LLC, trading through CHRONOSIGHT, is responsible for the personal information described in this policy. Our mailing address is 131 Continental Dr, Suite 305, Newark, Delaware 19713, United States. Privacy questions and requests may be submitted through our Connect page.

Scope

This policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect personal information when you visit thechronosight.com, buy or use a CHRONOSIGHT service, complete a private post-purchase intake, receive a personalized edition, or contact us.

Information we collect

  • Order and contact information: name, email address, billing details, order number, transaction status, region, language, and customer-service history.
  • Payment information: payment providers process card and banking details. We receive transaction and verification information but do not ordinarily receive the full card number.
  • Personalization information: birth date, birth time or time-accuracy status, birth place, current location if provided, audience profile, primary and secondary focus, requested start date, current question, and other information you voluntarily submit for the edition.
  • Communications and files: messages, correction requests, support records, consent records, and the personalized files needed to provide the service.
  • Device and usage information: IP address, browser and device information, cookie identifiers, pages viewed, referring pages, interactions, and approximate location derived from technical data.

How we use information

  • Process payments, confirm orders, prevent fraud, and keep required business records.
  • Assess whether the intake is complete and create, review, deliver, correct, and support the personalized edition.
  • Communicate about delivery, missing information, service changes, refunds, privacy requests, and security.
  • Operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the store and customer experience.
  • Send marketing only where permitted and according to your choices.
  • Comply with law, enforce our terms, establish or defend legal claims, and protect customers, the public, and our business.

Legal bases for EEA and UK users

Where European Economic Area or United Kingdom data-protection law applies, we process order and personalization information because it is necessary to perform the contract you request. We process security, fraud-prevention, service-quality, and limited business-administration data for our legitimate interests, balanced against your rights. We use consent where law requires it, including certain non-essential cookies and marketing. We also process information when necessary to comply with legal obligations. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing already carried out.

Software-assisted production and human review

We may use authorized software providers to support temporal calculation, document creation, drafting, layout, storage, and quality control. We minimize direct identifiers and use an order or client code where practical. A human reviewer remains responsible for the final customer-facing edition. We do not use birth-intake information for unrelated advertising.

When we disclose information

We disclose only the information reasonably needed to providers that support the service, including Shopify, payment processors, secure intake and storage providers, email and file-delivery providers, software used in production and quality control, and contracted professionals working under confidentiality obligations. We may also disclose information to professional advisers, regulators, courts, law enforcement, or another party to a business transaction when legally required or reasonably necessary. We do not sell personalized birth-intake information for money.

Shopify, cookies, and data sharing

Shopify powers our store and processes store, device, order, and customer information as described in Shopify's privacy materials. Shopify Network Intelligence is currently enabled. Depending on your region, certain analytics, advertising, or personalization activity may be treated as “sharing” or targeted advertising. Our cookie banner, Global Privacy Control support, and data-sharing opt-out page allow eligible visitors to make choices. You can use our data-sharing opt-out page where available.

International transfers

We are based in the United States and use service providers in the United States and other countries. Your information may therefore be processed outside your country. Where required, we rely on recognized transfer mechanisms or other legally permitted safeguards. You may contact us for more information about safeguards relevant to your information.

Retention

  • Raw personalization intake and active working files are normally removed from active production systems within 30 days after final delivery and completion of routine correction support.
  • A final delivery copy may be retained for up to 90 days after delivery to support secure redelivery, unless you request earlier deletion and no legal or dispute-related reason requires retention.
  • Order, payment, refund, consent, fraud-prevention, and tax records are retained for the period required by applicable law or reasonably necessary to establish or defend legal claims.
  • When information is no longer required, we delete, de-identify, or securely restrict it, subject to backup cycles and legal obligations.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to know or access information, correct it, delete it, receive a portable copy, restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent, and opt out of sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or certain uses of sensitive personal information. You may also have the right to appeal a decision or complain to a data-protection authority. We do not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.

To submit a request, use our Connect page. State the right you wish to exercise and provide your order number if relevant. Do not send full birth information in the first message. We may request limited information to verify identity and protect the customer record.

Security

We use administrative, organizational, and technical safeguards designed for the nature of the information and limit access to people and providers who need it for the service. No storage or transmission method is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not place birth information or private context in public comments, product reviews, or marketing forms.

Children

CHRONOSIGHT services are intended for adults aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly offer personalized editions directly to children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect service, legal, or technical changes. The updated date will appear at the top. If a change materially affects how we use existing personalization information, we will provide additional notice where required.

Contact and complaints

Use our Connect page or write to Guanshi Culture, LLC, 131 Continental Dr, Suite 305, Newark, Delaware 19713, United States. EEA and UK users may also complain to the data-protection authority where they live or work.
